Sue is a Hampshire based artist specialising in watercolour. Her paintings reflect the landscape she lives in and places she has visited and loved, where each painting is a personal reflection of the subject which inspired her.
My method of painting is to paint a personal response to a subject, allowing the subject to be the inspiration of the painting rather than the resulting image. Most of my paintings personally reflect the emotions of memories of landscapes past and present, and my aim is to produce an image which invokes a similar, or a different but personal response, from the viewer.
